Hallo Katja, In response to your job offers published on the internet, I am writing you in order to apply for a job as software developer. Studying "Analyst Programmer" in Montevideo, Uruguay, I am currently looking for a job in Germany. Since my boyfriend is living in Stuttgart I intend to move there this year in April if I can find a job in Germany. I've already been studying German at the Goethe Institute in Montevideo since five months. In order to get a working permission and a visa, I need to find a company that offers me job contract there in Germany. During my studies at the ORT University in Montevideo, I have been learning different programming languages like VB and Java, operating systems and the main concepts of software engineering. Another major topic was dealing with database systems such as MySQL and Oracle. In order to finance my studies, I have been working part-time at a local clinic doing some small software projects in Visual Basic.NET and MS Access. This was a good opportunity for me to get more familiar with the different development tools of these languages and the challenges of developing software. To gain more work experience, I started working at a small company called “Portvision”, where I was designing web pages, using HTML, Java Script and SQL. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
